Team NetApp-Endura went into the USA Pro Challenge with two potential GC riders in Leopold König and Tiago Machado but after both have dropped out of contention, Bartosz Huzarski has taken over the leadership. The Pole did a great ride in yesterday's queen stage and is now 9th overall.

Bartosz Huzarski ended the queen stage at the US Pro Challenge in ninth place overall. The third stage of the race through the US state of Colorado began in Gunnison and stretched over 155 kilometers through two high mountain ascents towards Monarch Mountain. The winner of the stage and new overall leader is defending champion Tejay van Garderen (BMC Racing).

"Today was the toughest mountain stage of the race. Since we are competing here with very good mountain riders, we wanted to fight for a good result today. Though we were present during every attack, the strong backwind prevented the formation of a lead group early on. But by the end a lead group pulled away and Bartosz not only finished the stage in the top ten, but improved his position to ninth place overall. And that is a great result," said sports director Alex Sans Vega of the NetApp Endura team's performance.
