When IAM were invited to Paris-Nice, many expected the team to hinge their performance on Sylvain Chavanel but throughout the race they proved that they were much more than their French leader. With a mechanical ruining Chavanel's GC hopes, Stefan Denifl and Sebastien Reichenback took over the leadership and performed excellently by taking 7th and 11th respectively.
