IAM have bolstered their roster for the 2015 by signing climber Jarlinson Pantano. The Colombian is expected to play a key role for Mathias Frank in stage races.
Next year Jarlinson Pantano will ride for IAM Cycling. The Colombian cyclist has confirmed the news in the media of his home country. He will become the first South American riders to sign for the Swiss team.
Pantano also confirmed the story with two tweets:

Now I have achieved the same as my uncle," he wrote, referring to John Freddy García who did three editions of the Giro d'Italia (2001, 2002 and 2003) and two Olympic Games, was national champion in 2002, won six stages of the Tour of Colombia and five stages of the Clásico RCN.
Pantano comes from Claudio Corti's Colombia Team where he has been riding for three years. He did the last two Giros, finishing 32nd and 46th respectively. This year he finished third in the stage to Oropa and last year he was third in the stage Florence. In 2010 he was third in theTour de l'Avenir behind compatriot Nairo Quintana and Andrew Talansky.
Pantano who turns 26 in November, joins Stef Clement (Belkin), Jerome Coppel (Cofidis), Thomas Degand (Wanty-Gobert), Dries Devenyns (Giant-Shimano), Simon Pellaud (stagiare) and Maxime Vantomme (Roubaix) as new signings for IAM.
Sylvain Chavanel and Mathias Frank will again be the leaders of the Swiss team.
