While some of the team's stars will be riding at the Paris-Nice, another part of the IAM team will target success in a trio of Italian one-day races this week. Thomas Löfkvist, Martin Elmiger, Johann Tschopp, and in-form youngster Jonathan Fumeaux will be some of the cards the team can play in Thursday's GP Camaiore and Strade Bianche and Roma Maxima in the weekend.

IAM Cycling is facing a busy schedule for the end of the week.  In addition to starting the Paris-Nice, riders from the Swiss Pro Continental team have committed to three races in four days which will take place in Italy.

Recovering both from Kristof Goddaert's tragic death as well as his own illness, IAM Cycling's Reto Hollenstein resumed his racing duties this past Sunday in Lugano.

“I was not 100% then, but I was able to do the work that was asked of me, and I managed to finish the race.  Now I am excited to head to Italy and take on those races, where we definitely have our own chances.  My legs were responding well during the race in Lugano, and so there is no reason to believe it will be any different this coming weekend.”

The tall 28 year old rider from the Thurgau region in Switzerland already faced these races in 2013.

“At Camaiore I will have a better chance to distinguish myself than on the dirt roads leading to Sienna.  In any case, I will take my chances if offered and will always be on hand to help the team.  In the Roma Maxima, there is always plenty to do for the team; an early break can take it all the way to the finish, but nearly any other scenario is possible, so it is never an easy race.”
