The professional team La Pomme-Marseille 13 hired two new recruits for the 2015 season.
Winner of a stage of the Tour of Alsace, in July, and wore the yellow jersey for three days, Gregory Tarride (23 years old), already present since 2012, extending his contract in Provence for a further year.
According to La Provence, the 11th and last rider of the cycling team will be the Lithuanian Ignatas Konovalovas (28 years old). Wheeler, who won the final time trial in the Giro 2009, returns to La Pomme, which he played for between 2006 and 2007. His pro career began with Crédit Agricole (2008). He wore the Cervélo jersey too (2008-2009), before being Alejandro Valverde’s teammate in Movistar (2011-2012) .This season, he was the only African Continental Pro Team MTN-Qhubeka.
The 2015 roster will finally be composed of eleven riders: Di Gregorio, El Fares, Siskevicius, Giraud, Tarride, Paillot Saint Martin (La Pomme Marseille-13), Blain (Raleigh), Loubet (GSC Blagnac Sport 31) , Penven (AVC Aix) and Konovalovas (MTN-Qhubeka).
