The Movistar Team starts its journey towards the state of Virginia (USA) on Wednesday, as the 2015 UCI World Championships are held in Richmond from September 20th-27th. Sunday's team time trial will open the action, over a quite shorter parcours than in the previous three editions: 38.8km, with two short climbs in the first part and a more demanding ascent just before the finish, yet with no technical sections and most suited for specialists.
The squad directed by Eusebio Unzué will bring seven riders, with the official, six-man line-up from the Blues being selected in the hours prior to the race: Andrey Amador, Winner Anacona, Jonathan Castroviejo, Alex Dowsett, Ion Izagirre, Adriano Malori and Jasha Sütterlin. During the next week, and back with their national teams, three other members of the telephone squad will join for the RR and ITT events: Juanjo Lobato, Imanol Erviti and Alejandro Valverde.
