Edward Ravasi will turn professional in 2017. The rider from Varese rode as a stagiaire with Lampre – Merida in the second part of 2015 but by mutual agreement, the parties have decided to postpone the jump to the professional ranks until 2017.
According to Cyclingpro.net, Ravasi will again wear the Colpack jersey in the U23 races in 2016. He will then ride as a stagiaire in the second half of 2016 before he makes his professional debut in 2017.
