Felix Gall, the reigning junior world champion, has done a short training camp with the development team of Etixx-Quick Step. With Klein Constantia, named after the wine region of Czech owner Zdenek Bakala, the 17-year-old Austrian underwent tests and trained in Calpe.

"Gall trained with them," Patrick Lefevere told Het Nieuwsblad. "But he is not the only one we follow. Five other riders have also been at training camp. I don’t want to name anyone. I pay a talent scout and am not supposed to give any hints to anyone.”

Gall was talking to the management of Klein Constantia even before he won the Worlds title.” They were impressed with my fourth place at the European time trial Championships and the team immediately invited me to the training camp in Calpe after the Worlds gold medal," the talent told Austrian media.

"The mood was very relaxed.  All the Etixx-Quick Step pros were also present, except for those preparing for Australia's Tour Down Under.” For now, the young world champion returns to school. "But for the holidays in February, I have received a new invitation to train in Calpe. Then I will go to Croatia with the Austrian national junior team for a training camp.”
