Team Katusha will try to build a new, more international identity and that results in new colours, with red being far more dominant in the new jersey for the team that is led by manager Viacheslav Ekimov and captains Joaquim Rodriguez and Alexander Kristoff. The official presentation took place at a popular hotel in Calpe (Alicante) where the Russian team is gathered.
The team also unveiled a new logo that represents a more global brand.
Katusha wants to take another step forward and the change of the colours marks the start. The team will have a 28-rider roster, with 12 Russians. Among the new signings are Reina Taaramäe and Jurgen Van den Broeck who will join Joaquim Rodriguez, Alexander Kristoff, Simon Spilak and Ilnur Zakarin as the leaders of the team.
