It is almost eight months since Czech rider Roman Kreuziger was forced to pull out of racing with Tinkoff-Saxo after the UCI announced he was under investigation for anomalies in his blood passport.

After being cleared of wrongdoing by the Czech Olympic Committee, the UCI lodged an appeal with CAS. Kreuziger doesn’t know when the results of the appeal will be announced but for now he is looking forward to racing with his team in 2015.

“It could be in one month, three months or at the end of the year. I don’t know,” he told Cyclingnews. “Cycling is my job and you can’t look too much at this case. You have to live with it and look ahead.”

He returned to racing at the Tour of Oman, where he finished highly in 12th place on GC, with eleventh on the Green Mountain summit finish his best result in a stage.

“It is the new season and a new start and I think I had a good winter so everything is going how it should be,” he said. “It was a long stage and I had the legs. Of course I wasn’t able to fight with the first but we have Rafal (Majka) here for the GC and I will just support him. I think for the next races that are coming I think that it is perfect where I am now and I am really happy with the shape.”

“I am still young but I am not a first year pro, I know how to get ready and into shape. Everything about this case I put away and I am just looking just towards the season and we will see when the hearing is.”
