Michal Kwiatkowski will wear his rainbow jersey in Paris-Nice, Milan-San Remo, the Ardennes Classics and the Tour de France before defending his title in Richmond.

The Polish Etixx-QuickStep rider has defined what his 2015, according to Biciciclismo who talked to the Pole at the Media Day of the team. Tour de San Luis, Volta ao Algarve, Paris-Nice, Milan-San Remo, Ghent-Wevelgem, Vuelta al Pais Vasco, Amstel Gold Race, Fleche Wallonne and Liege-Bastogne-Liege will be his 8 races in the first part of the season.

In the second part, he will do the Tour de Suisse before he heads to the Tour de France. Finally, he will focus on the Wolrd Championships. In mid-May or early June, he will travel to Richmond with his team to check the course.

Kwiatkowski will return to San Luis after he started his 2014 season in Mallorca. For the fourth year in a row, he will be in Algarve after beating Alberto Contador and Rui Costa in 2014 and finishing second behind teammate Tony Martin in 2013. In March, he will make his debut at Paris-Nice, skipping Tirreno-Adriatico, to have more time to prepare for Milan-San Remo, his first big goal of the season.

Like last year, he will skip the cobbled classics as he will only line up in Ghent-Wevelgem and instead he will line up in Pais Vasco where he finished second behind Contador in 2014. The Ardennes will be his second goal of the year after he finished third in both Fleche and Liege and was fifth in Amstel in 2014.

Again his grand tour will be the Tour de France after he was 11th in 2013 and did not achieve his goals last year. He will mainly be focused on the first week and will again see how far he can get in the GC. The Tour de Suisse is another novelty and will be his last race before the French race.

His last goal of the year will be in Richmond where he will try to defend the gold from Ponferrada. In May or June, he will exploit from his break from competition to travel with the Polish fedration to the USA to check the course.
