Like most other teams, Lampre-Merida have started their preparations for next season. On Monday, the team will gather for their first meeting to start the planning of 2015.
It’s better not to change the good traditions. Henco, Darfo Boario Terme will once again host the first official team meeting of Team Lampre-Merida in view of the next season.
From the evening of December 1 to December 4, the blue-fuchsia-green team will be gathered in Hotel San Martino for a traditional appointment that can has been made possible by As Boario and the pool of sponsors collected by Ezio Maffi (President of As Boario).
Darfo Boario Terme will welcome many top riders like former World Champion Rui Costa, the Italian top riders Sacha Modolo and Filippo Pozzato, the Italian young guns Mattia Cattaneo, Niccolo Bonifazio and Valerio Conti. Moreover, Taiwanese rider Chai Kung Feng and Ethiopian Tsgabu Grmay, the first athletes from their respective countries to race in a WorldTour team, will meet their new teammates at the gathering.
The main aims of the team meeting will be planning of the first part of the season and the evaluation of the technical items. Also the chance to create a team spirit is one of the main reasons of the team meeting.
The team staff will operate following instructions by team manager Brent Copeland who’ll will be accompanied by the whole group of sports directors and by Michele Bartoli (responsible for trainings and racing programs) in order to plan the 2015 season. The team will be visited by the main sponsors (the Galbusera family and Merida managers) and by the other partners and suppliers.
In order to thank As Boario and the group of sponsors that contributed to the team meeting, on Wednesday the 3rd, at 7 pm, the team and its main riders will take part in a public meeting that will be organized by As Boario in Sala Conferenze of Hotel San Martino on December 3.
