After three consecutive victories, LAMPRE-MERIDA will be the most awaited team at the start of the 2016 edition of the Trofeo Laigueglia, which will take place on Sunday, February 14.
Sports director Bruno Vicino will supervise 8 riders: Italian riders Valerio Conti, Manuele Mori, Simone Petilli and Diego Ulissi, Croatian athlete Kristijan Durasek, Byelorussian Ilya Koshevoy and Polish climber Przemyslaw Niemiec.
The race distance will be 192.5km and the riders will cover the climb of Cima Paravenna, Testico, three passages on the climb of Colle Micheri and the Capo Mele with 2km to go.
"The three passages of the Colle Micheri could select the group, so the final part of the race could be suitable for Ulissi," sports director Vicino explained. "Diego's condition is going better and better and he'll rely on the support of the team.
"In our selection there will be good climbers, who could be protagonists in the breakaway and in eventual moves in the final part of the course".
