Six Lampre-Merida riders will represent the team of manager Brent Copeland at the UCI Team Time Trial World Championships which is scheduled for Sunday, September 20 in Richmond.

The competition will be raced on a 38.6 km course with start from the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden and finish in Richmond Downtown. After a first sector of flat roads, the riders will cover a short descent and a hill of 300 meters. The finish line will be ato the end of a false-flat straight.

Sports director Mario Scirea will direct the following squad for the upcoming Worlds TTT: Mattia Cattaneo, Rui Costa, Nelson Oliveira, Luka Pibernik, Rubén Plaza and Jan Polanc.
