On Sunday, the 106th edition of Milan-Sanremo will take place. LAMPRE-MERIDA's goal is to add a second victory to the only success that the team has obtained in its history in the Italian Classic: the one that Maurizio Fondriest in 1993.
The team will be without Sacha Modolo who crashed at Tirreno-Adriatico. Instead, the team will rely on fast riders Davide Cimolai, Niccolo Bonifazio and Maximilano Richeze in case of a bunch sprint. For the late attacks, the team have Rui Costa and 2006 winner Filippo Pozzato.
