The goals of Lampre-Merida whose selection for the race is characterized by a low average age (25 years), will be confirmation of the form of its riders who trained well during the winter break, and an attempt to be protagonist in every stage: Cimolai and Ferrari will improve their feeling in the sprintsand Cattaneo, Koshevoy and Polanc will try to exploit the opportunities in the more demanding stages. There will be also a big interest in Mohoric's debut with the team.
