Greg Lemond believes it is crazy that Movistar are not taking Nairo Quintana to the Tour de France:
"It's crazy, I can not really understand the logic of this team. Nairo is one of the biggest stars of cycling, he won the Giro, was second in the Tour and he would improve the team," says the U.S. commentator on Eurosport.
He adds: "The whole world of cycling should be ashamed for this choice, the Tour route deserve to have the world's best and Nairo is the second or third best rider in the world. Also because it faces a similar race with only one captain: if something were to happen as happened to Martin in the first stage of the Giro, what would Movistar do? I'd love to know what you tell the sponsor ... ".
