Keeping alive hopes of increasing their 2015 victory account one race at a time, the Movistar Team will bring a mixture of young and experienced riders to their two races of the weekend in southeastern Spain, the 35th Vuelta a Murcia (Saturday 14) and the 30th Clásica de Almería (Sunday 15) offering chances to both climbers and sprinters. The squad directed by José Luis Arrieta will be showing up with some of their sensations during the early season, hoping to succeed on their goal.
Murcia-based Rubén Fernández will be back on home soil after his 5th place overall in the Tour Down Under, leading a Blue lineup completed by Ion Izagirre, Marc Soler, Beñat Intxausti, Javi Moreno, Igor Antón and José Herrada. The latter will be replaced by Juanjo Lobato for Sunday's sprinters course, the Andalusian having finished 2nd in 2014.
