Adriano Malori managed to win a silver medal in the time trial at the 2015 World Championships in Richmond . The Movistar rider had prepared meticulously for the Worlds and his efforts paid off.

"During the last month and a half before the Worlds, I was just doing workouts on fast time trial bikes," he told Ultimo Chilometro on Elle Radio. "It was hard work but it paid off. The time trial is a big focus for Movistar. They take care of all the small details and the environment is extraordinary. It works fine. Our captains are great people and I believe that our strength lies in the fact that first and foremost we are a group of friends. But I have to say thanks to Lampre for being in this position. They launched me into the world of professional cycling. My years there were a great school."

The Movistar rider has already looking to next season and the big goal is the Worlds in Qatar.

"At the 2016 Worlds in Qatar, I hop to win my gold medal but I prefer not to think about it at the moment because there is still a long time until that event takes place," he said. "I will start at the Tour de San Luis and then we will see what I will do along the way. For now I know that everything I have done so far is a starting point and not an end point."
