The latest medical report (14:30) provided by the Movistar Team says that "Adriano Malori has spent the night. His condition is stable and there are signs of improvement. During the afternoon, further medical tests will be done at Hospital San Luis and a new report from the doctor will be published on Saturday."

According to the first report of the Hospital San Luis issued yesterday, Malori was brought to hospital at 18:10 (local time) with "multiple injuries and a head injury. He will stay at the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) for 48 hours." The Movistar Team also confirmed that he suffered a broken right collarbone.

The accident happened about 30 kilometers from the finish and affected around forty riders.
