After being acquitted of charges of doping during the month of August, Alejandro Marque is nearing his return to professional cycling.
The Spaniard, who last year before the positive test for betamethasone had signed a pre-contract with Movistar, will ride next year with the Portuguese Continental team LA Aluminios-Antarte, with whom he has reached an agreement in principle. Marque has always ridden with Portuguese teams, showing off especially in the Volta a Portugal in 2013 when he won the race overall.
