One week before the start of the Tour de France Tony Martin has once again questioned the performances of the Astana team. The Etixx-QuickStep star made his statements in an interview with DPA.

Martin was unhappy about the fact that Astana still has a WorldTour license. 

"In the Tour de France behind every victory for Astana will be followed by a question mark," he said. "What they have shown in the Giro was outstanding, as usual."

The performance of Astana in the Giro d'Italia was striking; although the team did not win the race , Mikel Landa and Fabio Aru both finished on the podium and the team won no less than five stages as well as the teams classification.
