The Tour de France has already had its impact on the healt of several riders. Here's a short medical update.
The few crashes in this tricky second stage amidts huge crowds were finally not too harsh on the peloton. The hardest hit rider was Ducthman Lieuwe Westra (AST), who suffers from a waist injury. His compatriot Koen de Kort, who crashed twice, suffers from the right knee and elbow.
Two French hopefuls, Arnaud Demare and Julien Simon have sore wrists. Alessandro Petacchi suffers from an allergy after being bitten by a bee.
