"I'll try to win the rematch against Cancellara in the Tour of Flanders, but the first goal to me, is the Milan-San Remo. I'll even try the Paris-Roubaix and see how it goes."  says Peter Sagan.

Peter Sagan enjoyed a highly successful season in 2013. Now he wants to build on that, not only on quantity but on quality. Milan-San Remo will be his first target, Tour of Flanders are surely his goal too, and Paris-Roubaix could also be one of them, according to spaziociclismo.it.

And also important for the Slovakian rider, is winnin the green jersey once again. "For me it is important to win quality races and regain the green jersey in the Tour de France, rather than to get 22 wins." Sagan's 22 wins includes 10 in North America and 2 in Asia, and of course some of those "quality races" including a Tour stage and Gent-Wevelgem.

On race targets, Sagan comments, "I'll try to win the rematch against Cancellara in the Tour of Flanders, but the first goal to me, is the Milan-San Remo. I'll even try the Paris-Roubaix and see how it goes." Sagan didn't participate in the coveted cobbled race in 2012 and 2013. If the test in Paris-Roubaix goes well, Sagan may use this ability to gain a yellow jersey for several days in Tour, which has a similar stage, albeit with much less difficulty.

Sagan is currently in Argentina, to prepare for the Tour de San Luis. On the purpose of choosing the race, the Slovakian says, "Our team held the presentation in Los Angeles, which is much closer to Argentina than Australia. And while it is as hot as in Australia here there is less time zone differential." Also, Sagan weights the fact that San Luis doesn't offer World Tour points, because it probably means less riders in form, and less competition. After all, to race in Tour de San Luis is a preparation itself.
