After two third places, Sacha Modolo was again in the mix in the final stage of the Tour de San Luis when he sprinted to fourth after having been put well into position by Maximilano Richeze and Filippo Pozzato.
"It 'was a fast sprint that wasprepared well by my teammates," he said. "He were riding at more than 80km/h but I had to brake to avoid being closed. At that speed, I did not want to risk too much and I had to settle for 4th place.
"Last year I returned from Argentina with a win. This year I go back without success but with the knowledge of a good condition that is growing very well."
