Michael Mørkøv is one of six Danish Tinkoff-Saxo riders taking part of the World Championship road race for Denmark this Sunday. “First of all, I’m immensely proud of being in the World Championship line-up for Denmark and I’m really looking forward to the highly prestigious race on Sunday. It’s always a special feeling to be representing your country but it’s even more special this year since the whole Danish line-up consists of Tinkoff-Saxo teammates. We know each other quite well and I think we will be able to benefit from that fact,” Mørkøv concludes.
The World Championship road race covers 254.8 kilometers divided in to 14 laps on an 18.2 kilometer long circuit in and around Ponferrada, Spain.
