Having finished in the top 10 twice in a row, Bauke Mollema will again make the Tour de France his big goal in 2015. The Dutchman is pleased with the course that was unveiled in Paris today.
Bauke Mollema is satisfied with the course for the upcoming Tour de France.
"It's a very beautiful and spectacular route," said Mollema. "With a finish in Alpe d'Huez, the Tour almost ends in the Netherlands. It would be wonderful to win there."
"The first week very exciting with short explosive climbs. Also the bonus seconds will already make a small difference," Mollema added. The bonus seconds will make a return and will be on offer in from stages 2 to 8.
Next year Mollema will be riding for Trek Factory Racing. This year he finished 10th in the final standings after having finished 6th in 2013.
Mollema's current teammate Laurens Ten Dam is also pleased with the course.
"I kind of like next year's Tour de France course," he wrote on Twitter.
