Moreno Moser hopes to have a great 2016 season. After several disappointing years, the Cannondale-Garmin rider returned to his winning ways in 2015 when he won the final stage of the Tour of Austria. He also got close to a stage win in the Vuelta a Espana.
"All in all it was a decent season, full of ups and downs," he told Trentino Corriere delle Alpi. "However, it was definitely better than last year. Next year I will try to win more, maybe even a beautiful stage in the Giro d'Italia. Now I am preparing the Santos Tour Down Under in Australia and I hope to start winning from there."
Moser was regarded as one of the biggest talents when he won the 2012 Tour de Pologne and the 2013 Strade Bianche. However, he has been unable to reach similar heights since then.
