According to Dutch media, Jens Mouris will replace Brett Lancaster in the Orica-GreenEDGE roster for the ultimate WorldTour event of the 2014 season, the Tour of Beijing, after the latter was suddenly forced to withdraw.
The Dutch time trial and track specialist will join his fellow countryman Pieter Weening in the Australian team roster for the Chinese event, but the youngest Orica-GreenEDGE stars are expected to shine and gain invaluable experience in the race.
The Australian squad will target sprint stages with talented Caleb Evan - officially debuting in their outfit, as well as general classification with young guns Esteban Chaves and Simon Yates.
Along with two Dutchmen, Daryl Impey, Samuel Bewley and Matthew Hayman will complete the squad.
The complete Orica-GreenEDGE roster for the 2014 Tour of Beijing consists of:
