Some rumours have announced that Movistar Team would like to sign Colombian Carlos Betancur. This rider and Ag2r La Mondiale have come to a mutual agreement to end their partnership as of August 20, 2015. He is free and Eusebio Unzue hopes to take advantage of this situation.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Spanish team should sign also an African rider. Merhawi Kudus (21 years old) will be free at the end of this season and after two years with MTN Qhubeka, he should compete in World Tour level in 2016. This season, he finished 19th place overall at Giro del Trentino and 20th place overall at Vuelta a Andalucia-Ruta del Sol. He raced also the Tour de France, his first three-week race.
