David Muntaner and Kenny de Ketele are back in the lead after the third night of the Six-Day of Berlin. In front of a crowd of nearly 13,000 in the Velodrome in Landsberger Allee, the Spanish-Belgian pair could take back the lap that they had lost to Leif Lamapter/Marcel Kalz and again take over the first position in the standings.

The pair have a points tally of 166 points while Lampater/Kalz are second with 148 points. In third place - also with 148 points - the two young Dutchmen Yoeri Havik and Nick Stöpler are still incontention. After the third day, five teams are one lap behind.

"With the first three nights, we can be more than satisfied," organizer Reiner Schnorfeil said. "The people are loyal and have turned the Velodrome into a huge cycling festival for three days. For us and the riders, that is a great compliment and incentive because it gives my team the motivation to fight for the survival of this unique sporting event."
