The Australian rider Nathan Earle just finished his first full season with the Team Sky. He has 60 days of racing this season and he finished 12th at the Tour du Haut-Var and 40th at the Tour Down Under. He explains he hopes to participate in a grand tour next season. Interviewed by Cyclingnews, he said "The Tour de France would not be very realistic goal, I hope to participate in the Giro, but there are so many beefy guys in the team."
The 26 year-old rider hopes to shine on the Australian Championships in January 2015: "I wish to finish on the podium, with a little luck you never know, the bike it sometimes plays little." The Australian knows a good spot at these championships could earn him to be protected during the Tour Down Under.
It is also very clear his place in the team "Team work is very important, I already knew, but I realized more and more. You can feel the difference when everyone does his job or not. You can quickly fall into a routine, do its job and then let go and then roll to go on time. This is not the right attitude. I must always do my best to address the races with the best possible condition. It is sometimes enough to be there at the right time to win a victory. If you ever have an opportunity, in a breakaway for example if at the time of play victory you say that you could have been stronger if you had done the job seriously, it's really unfortunate. "
Here is a young man who has his head on his shoulders, he is also getting married. Earle is seen rather as a classics rider and he hopes to shine at these events in 2015.
