The Venezuelan rider Yonathan Monsalve, Neri Sottoli and Angelo Citracca as the sole director of the company will face the Office of the Italian Cycling Federation regarding residence permits and alleged illegality in the Giro d'Italia.
Monsalve and Citracca face disqualification which could also affect the ethical evaluation of team, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. Having won the Coppa Italia, the team looks poised to be invited to the Giro due to an agreement between the Cycling Federation and the organizers of the grand tour but the latter have the option to refuse the team due to ethical concerns.
The matter will be handled by the Disciplinary Committee of the Federation after Christmas and will decide an approproate sanction after a request from the prosecutor.
