With 13.000 spectators the Saturday evening in the Velodrom in Landsberger Allée was even more crowded than the first two days.
At the end of the day a new team had taken over the leading position: Madison World Champion Kenny de Ketele with Luke Roberts. Halfway in the race they leads with one lap to the next three teams, due to the fact that they won the big KIA chase Saturday evening, where only Kluge – Schep managed to stay in the same lap as De Ketele – Roberts.
That again means that Kluge – Schep is still “part of the game” while it looks a little bit more difficult for the German Champions, Bengsch – Kalz, first leaders of the race but now two laps down in the overall. Kluge – Schep already showed their ambitions by winning the first chase of the evening.
Overall after 3rd day:
1 Kenny de Ketele (BEL) – Luke Roberts (AUS), 137 p.,
at 1 lap:
2 Franco Marvulli (SUI) – Andreas Müller (AUT), 127 p.,
