The fourth day of the Bremen Six Days saw no major changes between the top teams during the Madison but still a new duo managed to seize the lead. Dane Jesper Mørkøv and Frenchman Morgan Kneisky finished first and second in the giant sprint and the points gained by finishing as winner and runner up were sufficient for the Danish/French constellation to earn a bonus lap and snatch the lead from Grasmann/de Ketele.
However, Grasmann and de Ketele look certain to gain a bonus lap themselves before the decisive Madison on Tuesday night while it seems unlikely that Mørkøv and Kneisky will have time to earn another bonus lap.
In fourth place Mora and Havik will undoubtedly improve their standing courtesy of another bonus lap while last year’s winners Kalz and Rasmussen might not make the 300 points mark.
Monday’s penultimate evening will certainly see quite a few teams go on the prowl for points.
