Swiss Roth-Skoda will join the professional peloton next year. Only the official confirmation is missing before the team can join the Pro Continental ranks and apply for invitations to WorldTour races. They will make their debut in Spain.
Roth-Skoda have a Spanish rider in their ranks, climber David Belda, but that is not the only Spanish connection. The Swiss team has organized two training camps, one in Calpe, from the 7th to 21st of December and one in Mallorca that start on January 16 and includes participation in the Challenge de Mallorca (January 28 to 31). Later they will do the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana (February 3-7).
Roth-Skoda has 24 riders confirmed for next season. New riders are David Belda (Burgos BH), Lucas Gaday (Unieuro-Willier), Bruno Pires (Tinkoff-Saxo), Grischa Janorschke (Team Vorarlberg), Martin Kohler (Drapac), Andrea Zordan (Androni-Giocattoli), Matthias Krizek (Team Felbermayr), Nicolas Baldo (Team Vorarlberg), Marco D'Urbano (GM Cycling Team), Rino Zampilli (Amore & Vita) and young riders Nico Brüngger, Valentin Baillifard, Dimitri Bussard, Frank Pasche and Nicola Toffali. The returning riders are Andrea Pasqualon, Alberto Cecchin, Andrea Vaccher, Giacomo Tomio,Tristan Marguet, Lukas Jaun, Dylan Page, Colin Stüssi and Roland Thalmann.
