Team Roth Gruppe AG will end its 14-day training camp in Calpe on Monday. "We had two very constructive weeks with the best weather conditions for our team. Our boys were able to do some very good workouts and have adapted very quickly to the new material. Here nothing was left to chance and the representatives of the various sponsors were here," General Manager Roberto Marchetti told radsport-news.com.
In mid-January the team will leave for the second training camp in Mallorca. Here the training will be more intensive and at the Mallorca Challenge Team Roth will contest the first race of the season. "In February we have some very attractive races on our calendar, like the Volta a la Valenciana, Volta ao Algarve, Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and the Swiss GP Lugano," added manager Christoph Springer.
Meanwhile, the Czech car company Skoda has withdrawn as title sponsor. That is a result of the recent problems of the VW group. Skoda will continue to support the team which is looking for a new co-sponsor.
