Nibali will ride tour de San Luis(Jan. 20-26) and tour of Dubai(Feb 5-8) as his first two races, according to Gazzetta.it.
The Giro d'Italia winner chose to put his season debut in tour of San Luis for the last two years, and he'll continue to be in Argentina for the third consecutive year. Nibali won the race in 2010.
The Italian chose tour of Oman after the Argentinian race in both 2012 and 2013, and for the next year he'll race near the Persian Gulf as well, although this time he chooses tour of Dubai, a new UAE race orgazined by RCS.
After these two races, presumably as warm-up ones, Nibali hasn't decided on his program for 2014, though. Tour de France will surely be his main goal, but the Astana leader hasn't ruled out Giro yet. "It's beautiful. It is well-designed. You can also think, perhaps, to be there." said Nibali. Among other races, Tirreno-Adriatico and Milano-San Remo are likely his goals as well.
Nibali will discuss the rest of his 2014 race program with his team in future weeks. The Astana team will join in Montecatini Terme, Tuscany, Italy this week, and Calpe, Valencia, Spain in early December, and Nibali's full schedule will likely come out of water then.
