After extending with MTN-Qhubeka, Adrien Niyonshuti is preparing for what is likely to be his first year at WorldTour level, where all of the attention will be on his team thanks to their new signings and status.

“I am glad to stay one more year and now I would like to show what I am able to do,” Niyonshuti told Cyclingnews at the Tour of Rwanda, where he was supposed to compete before he broke his elbow last month at the Memorial Pantani.

Noyonshuti will aim at a Grand Tour start in 2016 before helping names like Tyler Farrar, Mark Cavendish and Edvald Boasson Hagen to achieve more wins for the team.

Back in Rwanda, the rider is a god, revered by his nation as he has made it to the Olympics and other big events across the world, showing his people what can be accomplished.
