Vincenzo Nibali has passed the medical control after the injury he sustained at the Olympics. According to team medical staff he has fully recovered and is ready to return to racing.
Along with his faithful domestic Valerio Agnoli, Nibali will start the Tre Valli Varesine on September 29. Then he will visit Kazakhstan to participate in the Tour of Almaty (October, 2) and will finish his season defending the Astana colors at the Tour of Abu Dhabi from 19 to 22 of October.
The schedule means that he won't defend his Il Lombardia title.
