Mike Terpstra will wear the jersey of Zaanse Wielerclub Door Training Sterk (DTS) in 2016. In 2015 the younger brother of Niki Terpstra ride for Roompot Orange Peloton, where his one-year professional contract was not renewed.

28-year-old Terpstra will focus primarily on his business career. "I will not go every week but pick some races," he wrote on Twitter.
