On Sunday, Rinaldo Nocentini will be at the start of the GP Lugano. Having shown good form in his recent races, he hopes to repeat his win from the 2008 edition.

"I am satisfied with my current form," he said. "It is even beyond what I expected. In the Trofeo Laigueglia , I proved that I could be useful for the team at my recovery race after the Tour de San Luis. Last weekend in Haut Var, everyone worked really well for Ben (Gastauer) who won the race.

"I've already won in Lugano but it was on the old circuit which was a bit harder. With Matteo (Montaguti) , we also have a good card to play in a sprint. I will try to join the attacks. We have a beautiful team that also includes Domenico (Pozzovivo)."
