ONE Pro Cycling have confirmed a twelve strong rider roster for 2017.

The team will be made up of ten riders from the current 2016 roster with the addition of two exciting new signings, Tom Stewart and Will Harper.

Speaking on the announcement, ONE Pro Cycling’s CEO Matt Prior said; “There have been a fair few changes with the team over the last few months but I am absolutely delighted with the outcome of our rider roster.

"It is a very exciting mix of youth and experience and every rider is wholly motivated on playing their part in taking this team back up to Pro Continental and beyond. Matt Winston has done a fantastic job in putting this team together and I am personally very excited to see what we can do in 2017”.

The team are currently confirming the exact race programme but look likely to start their 2017 campaign at the Dubai Tour early February.

The team rode at pro continental level in 2016 but when they lost bike sponsor Factor, they had to step down to continental level.

Rider Overview:

Tom Baylis

At twenty years of age, Tom Baylis is the youngest member of the squad and has spent the past two seasons as a development rider for ONE Pro Cycling. Progressing quickly within the team, Baylis has a notable talent for time trialing and displayed a stand out performance during the team’s victory at Ronde Van Midden – Nederland earlier this year.

Karol Domagalski

Karol Domagalski returns to ONE Pro Cycling for his second season following a string of powerful performances throughout 2016 including two outstanding stage victories at the Tour of Korea. The twenty-seven-year-old Polish rider also secured a credible 6th place at the Velothon in Wales along with a solid showing during the Abu Dhabi Tour in October.

George Harper

A founding member of the squad, George Harper will now begin his third season with ONE Pro Cycling. During his time with the team, Harper has shown great talent and determination including assertive performances throughout 2015 and most notably, a sensational 6th place on GC at the 2.HC Tour de Langkawi in 2016.

Kristian House

Former British National Champion Kristian House will line up with ONE Pro Cycling for a second year, following an outstanding debut season. In true form, House kicked off 2016 in style, securing the teams first win at the New Zealand Cycle Classic before going on to clinch a stage victory at the Tour of Korea. The experienced professional who performed the role of road captain at several events throughout the year, will once again play an integral part of ONE Pro Cycling as the team tackles the domestic calendar.

Josh Hunt

Following a number of consistently strong performances throughout 2016, Joshua Hunt signs up with ONE Pro Cycling for a third consecutive season. At twenty-five years of age, Hunt has proven himself to be a true team player, always working tirelessly for his teammates and displaying the grit and determination necessary to be successful.

Hayden McCormick

Twenty-three-year-old Kiwi rider Hayden McCormick will be looking to build on the solid progress he made throughout his debut season with ONE Pro Cycling in 2016. As a highly motivated and driven individual, McCormick isn’t frightened to mix it up with his aggressive style of racing which should see him at the front of many bike races in 2017.

James Oram 

James Oram progressed well throughout the 2016 season and has signed up for his second year with ONE Pro Cycling. The twenty-three-year-old from Auckland, New Zealand is no stranger to British roads and will aim to continue to develop his form after a bold performance saw him claim 6th place at the Beaumont Trophy earlier this year.

Steele Von Hoff

Australian Sprinter Steele Von Hoff returns to ONE Pro Cycling off the back of a successful debut season. Surging for the line, Von Hoff picked off his rivals to secure victory in the opening stages of both the Tour of Norway and Sibiu Tour. Von Hoff is familiar with the domestic scene having raced around the UK in 2015 where a gutsy ride saw him win the Rutland Classic. The Australian sprinter will be looking for more opportunities to open up his trademark skills in 2017 and is sure to add to the excitement of any bunch sprint.

Pete Williams

Yorkshire resident Pete Williams starts his third season with the team following two successful years with ONE Pro Cycling including winning the KOM and Sprints jersey during the 2015 Tour of Britain. In 2016, Williams put in a remarkable performance at Tro Bro Leon where he sprinted across the line to take 2nd place, as well as securing a spectacular 3rd spot on GC at Ronde Van Midden – Nederland.

Sam Williams

Sam Williams is one of five British riders to remain with ONE Pro Cycling since the team was founded in 2015. The twenty-two-year-old came agonisingly close to succeeding from the breakaway at the Abu Dhabi Tour. Williams continues to impress and develop in all areas of the team and promises a strong season on British soil in 2017.

William Harper

A new and exciting signing, Will Harper will join the team line up for 2017 having spent the previous two seasons developing with the Pedal Heaven Academy. The twenty-six-year-old rouleur is looking forward to his debut season racing at UCI level and alongside his younger brother and fellow team mate George Harper.

Tom Stewart

Last but not least, Tom Stewart joins ONE Pro Cycling after a successful season with Madison Genesis where he secured three race victories and a very credible 7th place at the National Road Race Championships in Stockton. At twenty-six years of age, the Yorkshireman has proven his power and versatility, having achieved great results across the board from one-day flat races to hillier mountain courses during stage races.
