Bram Tankink and LottoNL-jumbo have reached a verbal agreement to work together for anothe year. The nearly 38-year-old team captain will start his tenth season with the team, according to Wielerfliets. This completes the roster of the Dutch team.
Tankink and the only Dutch World Tour team have reached an agreement although the contract has not been signed. In 2016, Tankink was closely involved in the performance of Steven Kruijswijk in the Giro d'Italia and Robert Gesink in the Vuelta a España. Whether 2017 is the last year for The Beast from the East is not known. During his time at LottoNL-jumbo and its predecessors, Tankink hasn’t taken any individual victories.
With Tankink in the team, the roster will consist of 29 riders next season.
