Omega Pharma-Quick-Step has announced the selection that will participate in 205 km La Flèche Wallonne, which takes place on Wednesday. The 77th edition features a new starting location: Binche, 20 km west of Charleroi, which has been the starting city since 1998.
"We have a young team there with riders who have good skills for the climbs," Sport Director Davide Bramati said. "As usual the Mur de Huy will be the most important part. We will climb it three times with the third being the finish. We will try to be protagonists, to get into actions if there is a possibility. We will also to try to put one of our guys in the front at the last part of the race, in case of a compact arrival at the foot of the Mur de Huy. We can count on Kwiatkowski who is in good condition and did well on Sunday, but we will see. With him every race is like a discovery — discovering new parcour, new race situations. For him it's an important test to learn again on this parcour. If there will be the possibility for him to be in the front, for sure we will help him out to be there and get a good result."
Kevin De Weert (BEL), Michal Golas (POL), Michal Kwiatkowski (POL), Serge Pauwels (BEL), Jerome Pineau (FRA), Pieter Serry (BEL), Julien Vermote (BEL) and Carlos Verona (ESP).
