Romain Bardet will lead Ag2r at Milan-Turin and Il Lombardia.

Bardet showed good form when he finished second in Giro dell'Emilia and is optimistic for the races.

"I really love Il Lombardia. It is an authentic UCI WorldTour monument and I hope I will perform. This Italian end-of-season is a true objective to me," he said.

"I even have higher expectations after our Giro dell’Emilia great results. Last Saturday our roster was more than united and that is why I have confidence in my teammates for Il Lombardia.

"Whatever happens, it is a personal satisfaction to be among the leaders in October after such a long and intense season. I have been working hard since early season and my current shape confirms all the progress I made during this year."

In Milan-Turin, Bardet will be supported by a great group of climbers made up of Domenico Pozzovivo, Pierre Latour, Mikael Cherel, Hubert Dupont, Alexis Vuillermoz, Cyril Gautier and Matteo Montaguti.

The roster for Gran Piemonte and Il Lombardia will be finalized after Milano-Torino.  Jan Bakelants, Guillaume Bonnafond, Axel Domont, Benoit Cosnefroy and Rémy Rochas are selected for Gran Piemonte. Romain Bardet, Jan Bakelants, Mikaël Cherel, Hubert Dupont, Cyril Gautier , Domenico Pozzovivo and Pierre Latour are selected for Il Lombardia.

Alexis Vuillermoz and Matteo Montaguti will participate in one or both of the races.
