On Sunday, April 13th the Russian WorldTour Team Katusha will take part in the third monumental classics race of the season, the legendary Paris – Roubaix, which will be held for 112th time.
The team is strongly represented with the Italian veteran Luca Paolini, who last year won Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and stage 3 of the Giro d’Italia. Paolini finished 13th in this year’s E3 Harelbeke and 36th in Ronde van Vlaanderen.
Also Norwegian Alexander Kristoff, who is in one of the best periods of his career right now, is a part of the Russian roster. Kristoff won the Italian spring classic Milano-Sanremo and besides from that a stage in Tour of Oman.
Team Katusha will be represented by Vladimir Gusev, Rüdiger Selig, Vladimir Isaychev, Alexander Kristoff, Aliaksandr Kuchysnki, Viacheslav Kuznetsov, Luca Paolini and Gatis Smukulis, all directed by Gennady Mikhaylov and Torsten Schmidt.
