Franco Pellizotti will continue his adventure with the Androni - Sidermec. The Dolphin of Bibione has renewed his contract with the team led by Gianni Savio for next season, bringing the number of seasons with the team up to five. 

Pellizotti joined the team after he returned from suspension and immediately secured a big win at the Italian Championships. Since then, he has been the undisputed leader of the Italian team.

This year he failed to win but got several placings among which was the fourth place at the Giro dell'Appenninno and the third place in the eleventh stage of the Giro d'Italia where only Ilnur Zakarin and Carlos Betancur beat him at the finish line in Imola.
