According to the Italian media, Bardiani-CSF have been granted an invitation to participate in the 2014 edition of the Amstel Gold Race and thus will line up at the start of the first among prestigious Ardennes classics alongside 18 World Tour and 4 other Pro Continental outfits.

The organizers of the only Dutch cycling classic, to be held on April 20th this season, have announced first four wildcards in the end of February, with Androni-Giocattoli, CCC Polsat-Polkowice, IAM Cycling and Topsport Vlaanderen-Baloise being granted the important invitations.

With Bardiani-CSF having received a wildcard, the race organizers are left with an untimate invitation to be granted in order to complete the field of 25 teams expected to participate in the event.
