Jérôme Pineau (35) will not participate in the Amstel Gold Race for IAM Cycling on Sunday.
The rider for the Swiss professional cycling team is suffering from digestive troubles that will prevent him from performing to the best of his abilities, and as a result he will not take the start of the race. The French rider will be replaced on this occasion by Thomas Degand.
IAM are likely to ride in support of Martin Elmiger, Dries Devenyns and Sylvain Chavanel in the Dutch race.
